Kristal Ashely is quickly becoming one of New Jersey's hottest up and coming models, starting with a few snapshots at the age of 15 she has been doing dance, print work, and dabbled in acting. While transitioning into her adult career she has been a featured model in many online magazines as well as print. You can also see her in a few Hip hop and pop videos that have been on MTV, Vh1 Soul and MTV jams.
This California-born beauty has battled the adversities of life on the path to becoming a star. Now residing in New Jersey, the road traveled called life, has been full of turns, just as was the journey across the country for Kristal Ashely. Kristal Ashely is also an avid member of the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Leukemia Societies. In addition to the Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Society and Leukemia Society, she is also a member of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Her story can serve as an inspiration to many, being that she is a survivor of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Kristal began her modeling career in high school. Early into her career, after a few advertising appearances, she was diagnosed with the cancer of the immune system that is marked by the presence of a type of cell called the Reed-Sternberg cell. After the diagnosis, Kristal had to take a break from her modeling career. At the age of 19, Kristal’s lymphoma has gone into remission, allowing her to resume her modeling career. Having shot with Terry Lewis Photography, GHA Photography, PNB photography, and Gregory Maxx, to name a few, the 5’6” model has appeared in publications such as Underground Fuzion, and Vocab Magazine, Kristal’s career is beginning to blossom. Also, look for her in the film “Limitless” starring Robert DeNiro, Elizabeth Banks, and Bradley Cooper, and "S.A.F.E." starring Jason Statham slated for October 2011 release. Having just received her Bachelor’s Degree, Kristal also shows she is a great combination of brains and beauty.
